Will a rectangular shaped floor plan be cheaper to build than one with dimensional protruding walls?

  1. Standard shapes like square and rectangles are cheaper to build not necessarily because of the materials but it involves more labor. a uniform box shape is quicker, if you alter the box it takes more time and can take more materials.
