  1. Betta can and will get along with any fish that maintains and thrives toward the bottom of the tank, as long as they are away from the heating of the tank and the feeding area.

The betta may nip the fins of the other fish, but they would be it. As long as the fish stay toward the bottom, the betta will be fine with it.

Just make sure you have an Ich Remover on hand in case of a spread, number one killer of community tanks. Good luck, I hope that helps.

  2. 1 rope fish should be in nothing less that an 80 Gallon tank. Two ropefish would do fine in a 100 Gallon. Also, rope fish will gladly eat a betta in a matter of seconds. If you are going to get a 60L biorbe, then just get 6-8 neon or cardinal tetras. That would be very "trendy".

Also, don't put any small cichlids in there either.

    Good Luck!

    I hope this helped!

If you wanted a coldwater community i would recomend some platys, swordtails and guppies all do well wth bettas. Thats what i have at the moment. As with any community tanks keep it well planted and have hiding spots just incase.

But if you have a tropical tank angelfish, small bristlenose plecos and even a few of the tetra groups will do well as long as there are ample hiding places for security

    hope that helps
