Will a short wheel base recumbent fit on a buses bicycle rack?

I currently have a Long wheel-base Rans Tailwind, which I love dearly, but as I'm now having to use it for transportation, the fact that it will not fit on a buses bicycle rack is a bit troublesome, so I was thinking about finding a SWB recumbent for my everyday bike. Any SWB owners have experience with this?

Probably.  A Rans Rocket wheelbase is 41" and an upright wheelbase is 39".
