Will a stand made with 4 x 4 boards as the pillars be enough to hold a 55? if so what about a 100 gall?

  1. A 4x4 is probably rated at app. 1000 pounds each vertical. 55 gallons of water is 440 lbs, 100 is 800 lbs. Depends on the frame you will use.
