Will a tattoo on my side stretch during pregnancy?

I don't have any plans for babies in the near future, but I don't want to run into that trouble down the road. I want to get it specifically in the area above the small of my waist but underneath the band of my bra.

  1. Yes. It'll stretch and look terrible.

  2. Depending how far down it is, I can guarantee it will stretch if you get pregnant. If you see any older people who have gained weight over the years, their tats seem to look faded, and not nearly as clear, due to the stretching of the skin.

  3. yep it sure will...

  4. i cant imagine tattooed skin behaving any differently than normal skinduringg pregnancy, anyplace that you would get stretch marks normally you will still get stretch marks. they may not fade as evenly though and the design could be distorted

  5. if its up by your bra area then i doubt it will stretch enough to make a difference but if its down by hips then yes, it will probably stretch significantly.
