Will a tv tuner work with comcast cable, sharing the internet feed?

im using a dell inspion 530 pc, with internet already plugged in

  1. i dont understand your question really...but if your just paying for internet and not paying for comcast television service, then you can't use your cable from your internet to get tv channels.

    there will be a physical barrier blocking all channels except the one they carry the internet on from entering the cable line at your house...this is called a trap

    before you climb the pole and take it off, remember that its illegal and most cable companys do weekly audits...so you'll get a few days for free before you find all the effort of climbing the pole and getting electrocuted was in vain because they've replaced the traps.

    now, if your paying for both tv and internet, you can split the line going to your modem and hook it up to a tv and get basic channels...you need a box for digital.  but remember, the more times you split a line the weaker your signal gets, so it might effect your internet speeds.
