  1. Yes, provided the quad is itself legal for road use.  


  2. Yes.

    Having either a full Category A (motorcycle) or Category B (car) licence will allow you to ride whatever quad you like.

  3. Yes a UK licence is enough.  My husband has a quad, and I checked into this properly.  You can drive one on a full UK licence (no other test required) and you do not have to wear a crash helmet - however I would suggest you do - quad bikes are prone to flipping over backwards if you accelerate to fast.
