~~Well I have attempted to use mine, but I think you have to be superman to get it to slide. It's good for quick spot cleanups, but I can't move it on carpet, the suctions is to powerful!~~

mmmm,sometimes.

I do cleaning and use a dirt devil and my back up weapon is a smaller wet/dry vac.I have found it works wonders on animal hairs,also along baseboards and appliances.

Yes, but it will only get the top stuff.  Without a beater brush the deep  dirt will stay.  A wet dry vac is great for getting water out of carpets
