  1. The chances are very slim that a woman will ever win a PGA Men's event. This assumption is based upon the lengths of the courses used on the PGA tour. When par 4's are measuring 470 plus yards, the ladies are at a disadvantage. They are not strong enough to hit a ball  long distances and must hit fairway woods or long irons to greens where the men are using mid to short irons. The shorter irons are more accurate.

  2. No

  3. no way

  4. When necessary sports are divided into weight classes (boxing, MMA), by age (little league, junior golf), and ALWAYS by s*x (WNBA, LPGA). The reasons are obvious: you can't have Floyd Mayweather fighting Evander Holyfield, Alex Rodriquez playing in little league, or Lorena Ochoa playing on the PGA tour. It's not age/weight "bias" nor is it "sexist", women are not as strong as men just as a twelve year old isn't as strong as a 30 year old and, in general, a 150lb. man is not as strong as a 210lb man.

PGA golf is grueling!!! expecting that a Lorena Ochoa or Michelle Wie could compete on the PGA tour is asking Mayweather to beat Holyfield: it has nothing to do with skill or talent.

  5. No, and I think it will be a long time before a woman ever plays in one again.  Annika did ti for the right reasons, to measure her abilities against the best players in the world.  Michelle Wie was a whole different story.  She thought she could actually compete with the men, and went on to make a complete fool out of herself, and basically ruined her career before it ever started.  Lorena Ochoa may be given the opportunity, but I dont think she will be able to make a cut.  Mens golf is a whole different game than womens golf.  Course setup, length, and many other factors make it almost impossible for the girls to compete with the boys.  They just cant hit it long enough and still keep it in the fairway, and they cant produce enough spin to fire at the hole locations on the courses the guys play today.

  6. yes

  7. No.

Why would women want to compete in men's tournament? I have nothing against women golfer, in fact I think most of them are very good.

I don't think women should be opening that door and all the second rated men pro will try to complete in women's tourney. Now that wouldn't be fair for anyone.
