I bought a male and female dwarf gourami to breed them. When I got home I relized that the male feelers were BOTH gone. Will the grow back, but more importantly, will he still make a bubble nest and breed with my female, who has shown signs already that she is ready to release her eggs, but he hasn't made a bubble nest. HELP!!!!!

  1. As long as he is otherwise unaffected, it should be fine.  Just make sure the stubs don't get infected or become otherwise irritated.  It won't affect its ability to breed, and won't really be much of a detriment.

  2. I would buy another male and make sure he is in tip top condition, and get that gourami his own 5 gallon tank to recover in.
