Publix brought forty nine Albertson's stores and if there is an existing Publix within close proximity to one of those purchased locations, it is likely that location will close.

I'm sure the Publix demographics teams have been hard at work helping to make those decisions all over the state.

Under these circumstances, regardless of their findings, your Albertson's will undoubtedly cease to operate under the Albertson's name in the near future.  Whether it reopens under the Publix name, yet remains to be seen.
