Any time I see a question like this one, the operative questions to ask myself is: (sucked) by what?

But the operative answer is always something like "No singularity of art is possible whether it is sucked there or not. Besides, sucking is not intellectual."

Art and singular can not be used in the same sentence. The moment it becomes (?) singular it ain't art no more.
