Will all the energy suppliers end up costing the same as british gas ?

I would wait a few months and see what happens. If  you move now you could lose out.

I would say yes, they are all as greedy and want to maximise their profits.

What you should perhaps do it go on a price comparison site and find a capped deal that has not increased yet.

Change to the cheapest provider that is also capping prices for the longest period.

Fuel prices will rise for a couple of years yet.
