  13. aloe vera will take the sting out and sooth the sun burn it will not heal it n e faster as your skin is still burned! but this will defently help and will make the peeling process much less than wat it would be with out anything on your burnt skin

  15. No, it will not make it go away any faster.

A sunburn causes your skin to overheat, holding solar radiation from the sun.  That heat is constantly pulling all the moisture out of your already dried out skin.  That's why it hurts like h**l (that and radiation damage to the nerves and skin).

Aloe vera (and the like) provide a constant source of moisture that can help soothe the burning.  Helps with the pain - personally I go to CVS and buy the bottle of Aloe Vera plus lidocane (a numbing agent).  Works doubly well!

  16. In a manner of speaking, it will moisturize the skin so that it won't crack, bleed or get infected.

If the burn is going to peel, it will peel anyhow.  Then the gel moisuturizes and prevents drying, and complications, so it is faster!

  17. It'll help the sting go away.

  18. its stops the burn and helps you not peel as much

  19. It will soothe it
