Will an 'instant/simple' police caution from November 2002 come up on a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) Check?

  2. For a minor offence it may well be 'spent. by now.   The local police will advise you.

  3. Depends on which disclosure it is. The website below shows what may appear on each kind of disclosure.

  4. I'd check the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 on the Ministry of Justice www site. I think convictions are spent after 10 years, but if they ask then I think you have to tell them. It may pay to be honest, as they might find out anyway.

    There's the basic CRB check and an enhanced one (this if you are going to work in a school or other type of establishment). Depends on what you did to get the caution.
