Will an Irish TV work in UK?

Question

Relocating from Ireland to the UK. TV set purchased in Ireland, just wondering if its worth bringing over to the UK. I know there are frequency differences... any way to get the set working in the UK?

I live in Ireland. AND the UK! Being in Northern Ireland of course I'm in both so the answer must be yes.

a t.v got here in Ireland will work over there and TV`s there will work here for now the one thing you just want to check before you do go is that digital will work on your TV for e.g that sky or a sat box digital system as well as now both i.t.v and the b.b.c are going digital as well its now in all aera of the UK now but will be in the next year or two
