I have an Olympus SLR camera OM-4 with OM fitting lenses. Is this the same as an Oylmpic Digital Camera fitting four-thirds?

  1. Definately NO. Which is a bummer, as I have an OM1 with lots of lenses, and wont fit the E series.

I now have Pentax DSLR's, and Pentax still use the PK mount which has been around for a long time, about 40 years, and 3rd party lenses, Sigma/Tamron etc, are so cheap with a PK mount.

    Hope this helps.

  2. No it's not, Olympus do an adaptor, but you need to use the Olympus DSLR in manual mode with stop down metering and MF.  There is also a focal length conversion of x2.

PLEASE SEARCH ANSWERS as this question has been resolved many times.

  3. I don't believe so, but this adapter( click on blue )

might be the one, but I'm not certain, that site might lead you to something.

  4. me too.. ive still got and use my OM4ti, though its getting rarer as the days pass.

i bought an E500, and yes you can use the old zuiko lenses, BUT you 'll need an adapter, and you will lose the auto metering on the Dslr.

so ask yourself, is it worth it?
