Will an aftermarket radio fit into my 1974 Ford Galaxie 500?

I inherited a 1974 Ford Galaxie 500 and im only 16 and the car is more that twice my age. I want to put a new radio into it so i can listen to cds but i dont know if an aftermarket radio you can buy at Best Buy would fit. I need some ideas. Thanks

Hi, you can go to www.bestbuy.com choose the radio you want to buy, and go to details then on left top you will see an option that says something like "THIS RADIO WILL FIT MY CAR : Click here, you just follow the instructions and it will tell you if it's the right radio for your car

yes, no problem, just tell the salesman what you are installing it in, they still make your size.
