Will analog radios be obsolete 2009?

I know that analog TV will be a thing of the past by feb 2009, but what about analog radio?

The analog radio spectrum is not going to change any time soon.  The Federal Government has had a hard-enough time with the TV spectrum, and their main motivation was profit.  The analog TV spectrum is broader than radio, and can therefore be licensed to communication companies for a substantial profit.  The radio spectrum is good for...radio.  So no need to throw out your grandmother's old transistor radio....it will still work in 10 years.
