  1. To address a few things. Andreson Silva walks around every day at 215-220 and still has to cut weight to make 205 (in fact he weighed in at the limit of 206 this afternoon).

He's fought 205 in previous organizations so it's nothing new to him

Where Anderson dominates 185 is his combination of SPEED and accuracy. Speed will be his biggest hurdle to overcome fighting at 205. Tomorrow night Anderson will be the smaller and weaker fighter for sure. Only time will tell if his new training routine of training with 20 pound weight vests on has helped him stay quick at a heavier body weight. He will have a distinct advantage on the ground; especially in dominate positions; although he is very dangerous from the guard.

James has one strike knockout power and has been training his Muay Thai with the Fairtex family so he will have a very strong clinch.

My money is on Anderson for this bout but get yourself used to champions moving weight classes. It's the future of the sport. I promise that you will see fighters fight in as many a 3 different weight classes. This will create super fights and open opportunities for fights never before seen.

So....dominate 205? Not like he did 185 but he'll give anyone at any weight a run for their money!

  2. yes but he should drop in waght class

  3. He's looking good for it so yes :)***

  4. I Honestly have no clue.  This will show though how great Anderson Silva really is.  I mean even if he doesn't dominate he still is a great fighter.  If he does dominate the LHW though, he is straight out godly!  I do believe he will beat James Irvin though

  5. He just destroyed James Irvin in his debut at 205lbs and it looks like he has not lost any of his speed at 205. I think Silva can definitely dominate the light heavy weight division. I want to see him fight chuck liddell next, that will realy prove if he is P4P the best!

  6. It's possible, but I doubt he'll be as dominate at 205 lbs. as he was at 185.

The talent pool in the 205 lb. division is just so deep. Everyone brings something different and dangerous.

I'm a huge fan, but something about the jump in weight classes makes me uneasy. Some guys at 205 are just huge. Still, Anderson is that man. We'll see how it goes.
