  1. Probably not.  Also, some states (any I have written in at least), do NOT allow liability exclusions of any kind for an admitted (licensed in the state) carrier.  So, if this is the case in your state, it would be illegal for a company to exclude the dog, so they wouldn't write your policy.  If available in your state, you may be able to get coverage with a surplus lines carrier (NOT licensed in your state) because they don't have to follow the rules of the state (they CAN exclude animals, off premises liability & many other things) and they can use their own forms & can charge whatever they want - average in my area is 3 times what a standard carrier charges.  Lloyd's of London is an example of a surplus lines carrier.

Good luck to you, you will need it.

  2. Well, if you want liabiltiy coverage for the dog, no.

If you're willing to get the policy, and EXCLUDE coverage for dog bites, Foremost Insurance will do that, IF the dog doesn't have a bite history.
