  1. If the state you are in terminates your parents' parental rights, then yes, you could be adopted.  It sounds like things must be very bad for you at home.  I don't know your circumstances, but more than likely, child protective services will be involved.  That is all right.  It is better to be away from your home if there is emotional, physical or sexual abuse going on there.  I encourage you to call the runaway hotline at 1-800-RUN-AWAY to see what resources are available where you live.  It is best to leave with a plan if possible.  If not, try to take your birth certificate, any school ID, Social Security Card, Medical Card.  Take a bookbag at least with a change of clothes, underwear.  Write out a list of people, even ones you don't know that well, that you can contact.  Please don't leave for the open streets.  Too many people prey on vunerable youth.  You don't want to end up worse than you are.  I will pray for your safety and well-being.

  2. yes and no most people want a baby or a young child to adopt!

most people believe since ur a teenager ur harder to control so most people stay away from teenagers!

  3. YES THEY WILL BUT MIGHT TAKE A WHILE THOUGH BECAUSE NOT A LOT OF PPL GET ADOPTED

  4. Hello,

If you are in an abusive situation or scared - instead of going to a shelter, please call your local child protective service office.  Let them help you out.  Please think about it.

Shelters are not ideal homes.  CPS can work with you.  Maybe you have a relative out there who can help you?

I'm a foster mom of 10 years and YES!!! 13 year old girls are adoptable!  I am currently adopting after being her foster mom for 2 years.

    See help please

  5. I'm 15 and I dont mind being a mommy for a 13 year old daughter : D

  6. i live in aus on property and have horses and would be happuto adopt a 13yr old girl please email me would give u a loving home.  i ran away at 15 ur not alone.

  8. I certainly hope so! I wish more people that have so much trouble having their own kids would do this and lay off that ego trip. family isn't always about blood.  If you can't give birth maybe that's a sign you should adopt!OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good luck and be safe!

  9. Absolutely!  A mother always has room in her heart for one more!  I am hoping to adopt a teenager when my kids are older.

  10. People adopt at all ages and for many reasons. I'm hoping to adopt one day when I've got a more secure income, and I would adopt a teenager if I felt that we would get on and I could give him/her the right care (which obviously can depend on the circumstances). Good luck, I hope it all works out.

  11. I believe so....  My mom and dad have never officially adopted a child, but they have taken in foster kids before.  My mom prefers teens.  They loved it!

  12. I have a girlfriend Anna. She went to a shelter and was adopted by a very nice family when she was 15. Your life can only get better. Think about the ocean the tides come and go. In life the good times come and go too. Just got to look out and remember there will always be good times. They are there we must only wait.

  13. Sure I would adopt a 13 year old but I dont think that it is legal for you to go to a womens shelter they will have to call child protective services and your family if something really bad is going on at home please call child protective services

  14. Running away is never a good idea. If you aren't living in a safe environment you should speak with a teacher or counselor in your school. Maybe stay with a friend for a while until another safe place can be found for you.

Older children are adopted, but the process is not as easy as leaving your own home and finding another one. First your guardian's parental rights must be terminated, which, unless they voluntarily terminate them, the state can do after you've been in foster care for 18 months, if the state decides that the best course of action for you is to be adopted. They might decide you'd best be placed with a relative, or in a group home.

This is all very complicated stuff, and so I return to my original advice -- speak to a teacher or school counselor/social worker/psychologist about getting into a better living environment. Don't go do this on your own.

  15. It happens all the time, Sweetie.  The first thing is for you to be safe.  Then let the grown-ups do their job and find you a place to live.  And, when you find a foster family, or adoptive family, be sure to be honest about anything that is going on there that's not right, too.  Just because someone is a foster parent or adoptive parent, doesn't mean you have to put up with abuse or mistreatment.  Most foster parents and adoptive parents are good people, and are doing it for the right reasons.  Just know that you deserve to be safe, wherever you are.

  16. of course. I would love to have a 13 year old daughter again. My daughter is 21 years old. Have faith.

email me if you want to talk.
