Will anyone ever surpass Santana D or will everyone let him stay #1 in rememberance of him?

That seems kind of silly though. If Yahoo Answers is around long enough we'll all be dead on day. Should this section let the top 10 stay the same forever?

Eventually everything changes, and eventually someone will pass Santana.  It just won't be me.  He was a great man, but nothing last's forever.  If someone does replace Santana D's name, it is meaningless anyway, it's just a list.  No one will ever impact on this site like Santana D did anymore than someone could surpass Ali or Louis's accomplishment's in or out of the ring.

Greatness can only be emulated, it cannot be surpassed or even equaled, it can only be imitated.

It is just an internet forum.....we don't even know for sure that he is actually dead, maybe he got tired of going online, maybe he got married,h**l for all we know he could have simply changed accounts and is still here, i mean people take this place too seriously.

Someone will sooner or later pass Santana D. Personally, I'm not in this to surpass anyone. Whether happens, happens. It is just a site for us to interact, though I have to still give much props to Blogbaba just for the respect he showed towards Santana D by not wanting to pass him. I just like to come on here and express my thoughts and knowledge on the sport. Whether my answers get best choice or not, it doesn't matter to me. I see it as a "thank you" for picking my answer and it makes feel that I've helped in some sort of way, which I don't mind doing.

Even if I really wanted to simply tie Santana D, at the rate I'm going it would probably take another year and a half at best to make that, since it took almost a year to reach 198 best answers from this section alone. With that being said though, I doubt I would make it that high, because more than likely I'll have a big life changing experience between now and eighteen months from now, which would probably reduce my time on here.

Yeah actually Blogbaba, Smitty and probably Ric were the only ones that would have been close enough to have maybe passed him by now but eventually someone will come along and pass through the list and pass him. I keep a steady slow pace and it will probably be around a year before I'm close enough to even think of that. I think someone will have passed him by then and if so he will slowly move down the list but I simply don't think any of the originals will want to be the first to pass him I think I'd be content at 507 behind Blogbaba until then.
