Will anything happen to my pierced ears?

Well I got my second piercing, and I am supposed to keep them on for 6 weeks without taking them off. I dont know why but thats the rule. Well i play soccer and we have 1 game left to play. I can only play if i take the earrings off , cause I can't hide them. So my last game I took them off and put them back on. Is that bad ?

taking them out for an hour or two is not big deal.

just try not to take them out for too long because they can close since they are still healing.

as long as you washed your hands first you should be fine. and if it wasnt hard to get them back in then you didnt do anything wrong. 6 weeks is the standard healing time for ear lobe piercings, it just means that thats how long it takes for them to usualy heal completely. some ppl heal faster and some heal slower so you, no thats bad.

yea cause if you don't leave them in for 6 weeks they will end up closing really. but the front might close and the back might be open you can poke the earring through your ear again.

Fourthly, I would like to point out the fact that if you leave out your earrings your ears close up. This is a major problem and annoyance because putting earrings back in when your ears are closing up; leaves a throbbing pain throughout your ear.

Taking it out for a few hours won't close it or anything. It may just take a little longer to heal completely.

no you will be fine. but leeping them out for a longer time than a soccer game could make the hole start to close.

i used to play soccer back in the day and i got my ears pierced and i just put masking tape over my ears. lol. It looks kinda silly but i could still play without taking them out... but that was a couple years ago
