Will arab countries go back to poverty after all the oil is used up?

what will happen to the economy in countries such as saudi arabia when all the oil runs out? will they ''coem round'' to western idea's without the advantage of monopoly on oil or will they live in poverty which will inevitably get alot worse?

  1. No No They have enough fuel and They are not poor But only one things is that fuel is also limited resource in the world


  2. They are smart. If the rest of the world goes to a different solution for energy, so will they. Just like the internet, there are some things that join our world together. They would no more go to poverty than we would.

I think they would suffer tremendously just like america's economy has since we have lost our stronghold on industrial work. i also believe that other countries would really have no use for them anymore and any issues that arab countries had they would have to solve on their own. the individual rich arabs would be ok, but the rest of the civilians would be more poor than they where before.

  4. It depends on how they invest their oil revenues before they run out. Dubai has big plans  and has already developed other  sources of revenue.

    Note: Most  Muslims do not live in oil rich countries so it will have no effect on the religion.
