 Baking soda mixed with water may be used to induce vomiting. The experiment of giving several teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide to a large-sized dog or ipecac syrup to a small-sized dog. This is based on the amount the dogs can tolerate, and allowing the dog to drink a cup of water speeds up the process.
