NO, but it will give your head a good scrubbing and help prevent dandruff by gently scrubbing off the dead skin before it becomes a problem. I use 1tsp every three days to give my head a really nice clean feeling.

Baking soda will not change the color of your hair, but Prell is one of the worst shampoo's on the market. You'd be better off using Swave. They have several scents and I've bought it on sale for as little as 99 cents.
