  1. No.

  2. Yes, you can use it. But it can have a warrant on it to find out where you are.

  3. As far as I know, the authorities will only lock somebody's bank account if there is a pending civil lawsuit (in some counties), or in cases of tax evasion, racketeering, or fraud. In any case, it requires a court order.

  4. The banks would have no idea if someone has a warrant for their arrest.  And even if they somehow did, they are trying to make money, and if they close your account they are losing your business!

  5. Yes.  Banks are not law enforcement agencies.

  6. How would the bank find out to begin with?

Just because you have an arrest warrant out doesn't mean that every computer in the world knows about it...the police don't have access to them, your bank wouldn't have access to the police...

so unless the police get a judge to authorize a warrant to 'seize' assets (like bank accounts, house, car, etc.) then there is no way the banks can do anything.

But they CAN get warrants to force the credit card companies and banks to tell them 'where' the credit cards are being used or what ATM machines are being used to withdraw money...and that gives the police a clue as to where the felon is running to!

Until a COURT grants a judgement to force payment for damages, or to seize assets to prevent a felon from leaving the country, the banks can't do a thing.

  7. Yes, you can use it. However if the DA thinks you are a flight risk they can limit or hold your funds. It is better to have your attorney OK it with the judge just in case it does come up. It's harder to fix once a hold has been issued.

  8. No,

    only through a court order.

  9. yes you can use it
