Question:

Will be in Paris in late October. Is there someone who can show us around the churches with pipe organs?

I know, odd question. My friend works for a company that makes pipe organs like the ones in concert halls and cathedrals and wanted to visit Notre Dame's organ and I think the one at Sacre Coeur?? He's been trying to get in touch with those churches but I don't think he's had much luck.

I think if we could find a music student with a familiar interest, we would have the perfect tour guide, but we're also really looking for the behind the scenes look at the organs.

Can anyone help?

  1. The Grande Orgue at St. Sulpice is considered the best pipe organ in Paris.

You might want to  contact David Roth, the organist there. His webpage is here: http://www.danielrothsaintsulpice.org/
