  1. The ones in 2010  In Vancouver BC   will be Great  .Come see for your self  .Go to tourismvancouver  and hellobc  .for free guides

  2. For sure.  It's London, England.......

  3. Yes it will be. Its only 1431 days as of this posting until the greatest ever Olympic games will be held in London. I'm betting Han's stomach has butterflies already.

However I fear that many of the wonderful artistic scenes in the opening day will be lost on viewers as compared to the world UK culture is small.

  4. The amount of money spent on the games is usually proportional to the size of the country, so the London olympics won't be as flashy as the Beijing ones. There will be a wider range of sports on offer though, so it should help to make up for it.

  5. I hope we can host it better here in the UK...I just hope it won't be all top hats and bunting! and flags on sticks..if so, kill me now!!!

    we'll have to see

  6. YES STANDARD BRUV DEESE TINGS DEEZ DAYZ MAN, U COME TO OUR ENDZ BRUV NOT KNOWING JACK  CUZ CUS U IS A WASTEMAN

  7. I will tell you in 4 years

  8. Of course.Because Beijing Olympics was the worst Olympics ever.

Fakes in ceremony, press restraints, abusing human rights, doping, etiquette of Chinese audiences.......

People who say Beijing Olympics was brilliant are ignorant idiots. They don't know hidden truth.

  9. The spirit of the Olympics is what's important and China made a memorable show for the billions of people around the world. I doubt whether any other country could do better.

  10. It really depends on London now. It's rather difficult to tell . I'll say this though, China has already set a very high standard for the Olypmics, i'll say thatthe pressure will be a lot greater on London now.

  11. Probably not, China has spent 40 billion dollars, so it is not likely you will find a better one, because the British are spending 18 mill, so they have less resources and fireworks, etc.

  12. Come on - the "hand over" was the arrival of a blacked out bus, which was boarded by a bunch of totally anonymous nondescripts dressed as down as might be possible.

How can you follow that auspicious beginning?

My own opinion, which is worth nothing, is that "our" Olympic games will be, mistakenly, directed at the lowest possible denominiator.

    Over sensitivity will overcome sense.

As a result "our" games will be one of the biggest Oympic disasters ever.

  13. I don't think so.  The teaser for London 2012 didn't look at all exciting.

Let's just hope there are as many security tbh.  After having invaded two countries and suffered numerous terrorist attacks, one might think people would support tight security.  7/7 to distant?

People who say otherwise are idiots, blinded by their rabid irrational hate.

  14. Yes yes yes!! Boris is mayor, it will be party time!

  15. The UK atmosphere and energy is likely to be better but the UK can not compete the finances or scale of China.

  16. Depends what you mean by better. There will be just as many gold, silver and bronze medals won (dependiing on the number of events.) There won't be quite so many military personnel assigned to the opening and closing ceremonies. Instead they might be diverted to peacekeeping activities and helping out in natural disasters (earthquakes etc.) rather than precision drumming. My Chinese is rubbish.

  17. I think Beijing Olympics were beautiful but every country adds their own customs to the event so it will be different.
