Hi, I will be going up with my school to the ski hill next week and will be picking up some snow blades. I am an experienced hockey player and alot of people have told me that this will come natural to me since I am a strong skater. Is this true? I have never skied before in my life, how long will it take to get used to these?

  1. I don't know about snowblading, but it helped me with skiing. Take a lesson. It will help a lot.

  2. Hockey skating will definately help as you already understand the use of edges and how to change directions and stop

The main tip that you need to keep in mind is to keep your shoulders facing the downhill or face the downhill and you'll be fine
