Will bindings fit different brand snowboards?

Question

In general, could I get different brand binding than my board and have them fit, also would all burton bindings fit all burton boards?

All modern snowboards use the same mounting pattern (4 bolt square) EXCEPT for Burton with thier stupid "3D" mounting (3 bolt triangle). Most bindings can be mounted on either mounting pattern (there are extra holes in the mounting disc) but some require a special mounting disc for each pattern - check before you buy.

I believe that very old Burton bindings used a 4 hole mounting but any newer Burton binding will work on any newer Burton board.

Yeah. The brands dont matter. only the size. I have ride board, drake bindings, saloman boots. they all fit together just fine.

Yip, it really doesnt matter, I have a Nitro snowboard, Burton bindings and 32s for boots, all fit together great
