Will blockbuster send me to collections for a $1.65 fee?

i rented a movie and returned it late, had not been to blockbuster for 6 months. and i went back to rent a movie the clerk said i had a $1.65 restalking fee from 200 days ago. i paid the fee in store. i had not recived any calls durring the 6 month period. will or can they contact a collections agency? i am trying to buy a house and i dont want $1.65 standing in the way of my future home.

  1. Just check and make sure that it is paid and not showing up on your credit report.


  2. yes and they will charge you late fees. they will call you 5 times then it will go on record. it will be there for 7 years/

  3. I highly doubt it. Not only did you pay it, but it would cost more than $1.65 just to post this to your credit report.
