  1. Yes.  Boric acid will kill wasps.  I can even say that the sugar water could kill a wasp... if you drowned the wasp with the sugar water.  Realistically, there is a much better solution to your problem.  

    Wasp Freeze, the professionals use it and so should you.  It can spray 20 ft plus and it has a residual to kill wasps that return later.


  2. it would depend if you could mix it a a consistency they would be able to ingest and that it wouldn't separate shortly later  after cooling, along with would they even be attracted to it in the first place or even what type of wasps you are having issues with.  Many types are feeding meats to the brood which in turn turn it into a sugary diet for the adults

  3. I think boric acid and sugar will be too hard to appply to kill wasps. What I strongly recommend is Raid Wasp and Hornet Spray. You can ask for this at Home Depot or Lowes. I'm serious, this is so strong that when you spray the wasps, they immediately die!! From personal experice, I got ri of many wasp nests all around the outside of my house.
