I'm getting my braces a week before my vocal performance. I'm wondering should I move my braces appointment after my vocal performance or just stick to the original appointment? I'm thinking of moving my appointment because I'm afraid once I get braces, it would be difficult for me to perform for the following week. Because wouldn't it be sore and takes time to adjust? My performance is a week after my braces appointment. Should I move my appointment or not?

Maybe move the appointment time, trust me, I just got braces... It doesn't change your voice too much, but seeing as you have a mouth full of metal, It des change your diction, you can slobber a bit too, It's all part of getting used to them but after a few months it will be fine again.
