  1. Monster is one! they give you lots of money!


  2. They will only advertise on your site IF:

    - you can demonstrate sufficient number of impressions

    - you can track their views and clicks, and present these statistics to them on demand

    - your content is RELEVANT and RICH, that is, someone selling baby diapers won't be advertising on a computer sales site, but they'd definately advertise on a site that is about women, mothers, or babies. This s called "targeting."

    - whether an advertiser buys in depends on your mode of advertising: flat fee, pay per click (PPC), pay per view . . .

    The only other option is pay per click ads like Google adSense, etc. None of these will generate you any money without sufficient RELEVANT traffic and content.

    The big deal is lots of traffic and RELEVANT content. Otherwise no, they won't.
