  1. I have actually read that cutting out caffeine can increase your chances of conception by 50%!!! Wow huh? So I have cut out (well I'm trying) caffeine. It's kinda difficult because I drink heaps of tea!! I had a coffee today and feel great lol but I think if your going to do it just make it very occasional. Try some d-caf or herbal tea's.. It's the 1st of many things to give up for our children=) Might take a bit of time to wean off. GOOD LUCK TTC!! Baby dust to you!

  2. You definately have to get off the coffee.I know it's hard but hey Im doing it.I've quit smoking, drinking & caffeine for two months now because we're ttc. You need to give your baby the best it can get out of life & unfortunately you have to make sacrifices to do that.I've started drinking hot chocolate once a day instead to replace my wake up coffee & drinking apple juice during the day.Hey its not coffee but apple juice has been proven to make you feel more happy & chirpy throughout the day than coffee. Also try caffeine free tea like chammomile it does'nt taste to great at first but you'll get used to it & its supposed to help with morning sickness.Give it a try your baby will love you for it!

  3. caffiene is bad for your baby. it can also make you less fertile and increase your chance of miscarriage.

for the healthiest baby, don't have any caffiene while trying to conceive or while pregnant.

If you can't do this one relatively simple thing for your baby (giving up caffiene) , then how will you make all the other really tough sacrifices needed to be a good mom?

there are so many its impossible to name them. for instance, getting up many times per night in the middle of the night and giving up sleep.

  4. I dont know the statistics on the effects or anything, but I do know they advise against the use of it. I dont know if it will necessarily hurt your chances of conceiving either. I am TTC and I have cut out most of my caffeine by drinking caffeine free soft drinks and tea. I don't drink coffee, but you could switch to decaf. It is hard to break the addiction, I had to go with a week straight of headaches before I was ok without it, but I really do think it is worth it for me and any baby I may conceive.

  5. THIS IS A JOKE, RIGHT????  YOUR NOT SERIOUS????  IF YOUR REALLY HAVING TO ASK THESE QUESTIONS, YOU DONT NEED TO BE GETTING PREGNANT!!!   I MEAN, PLEASE..................

  6. as far as i know ( and please don'tot quote me on this) coffe isn'tnt the super best for you regardless if your pregnant or not. there have been some studies that found that caffeine can increase the chance of miscarriagege. just look after your health as much as you can so that when you do fall pregnant the baby has a healthy environmentnt to begin it's journey :) hope that helps

  7. Unless your doctor has recommended you (or your partner) specifically not to have caffeine or to cut down, you don't need to (unless just by choice).

Once you get pregnant you should definitely cut down (the recommended amount is no more than 300 mg a day), but you don't HAVE to while you are just trying to conceive.

I am a huge diet coke addict, and got pregnant my second month trying with #1, and my third month trying with #2. Which is pretty quickly considering it is normal to take up to several months, even in a perfectly healthy couple with perfect timing.

I don't know what you mean by "is there another way to get pregnant" though. The only way to get pregnant is by having your partners sperm meet your egg - which requires s*x during or around the time of your cycle when you ovulate.

  8. ok

  9. No, but I don't think its necessarily great for a baby

  10. no it is not, nomater what as long as the sperm goes in

  11. I am a HUGE Pepsi drinker and I have not had a problem getting pregnant, I am now on baby #3.. I clearly cut down on the Pepsi after I find out that I am pregnant, but I don't think it should be that big of a problem when it comes to TTC.. Good Luck.
