  1. I like your spirit bro,but you know the saying when Aucklands strong the AllBlacks are strong We have the shield and since we havent dropped a game  in the NPC i cnt see us losing especially after beating Canterbury the second best team. But if your Cantabs win  the NPC for some mysterious reason  i   put on a new post and give you a thumbs up but i cnt see it happening bro.GO AUCKLAND!!!!!!!!!GO ALLBLACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. It is a possibility but It'll be hard it'll come down to come down to canterbury and auckland, it's pretty much whos better on the night.

  3. Definitely.Go Canterbury!!!

  4. PROBABLY!!!!  dammit!

Die hard jafa here!  I saw the Auckland team all came down with a stomach virus, that's just great.  Canterbury will be desperate for some revenge if they meet up.  It'll be at Eden Park so we have that going for us at least.  The Log is safe for the off season though... YEAH!

  5. no not really.  auckland has showed the other teams how to beat the cantabs in the shield match. Hit, hit, hit, and make them feel that they have been hit.

  6. Im picking Auckland to take it out this year. Theyve been the dominant team all season and thouroughly deserve to win. They've shown that they have great depth with all their All Blacks away at the WC, just as they did in 2003, and also showed they can win the big clashes e.g. against Canterbury last week. Canterbury have a chance to win the title but against a confident, inform, unbeaten Auckland side at Eden Park I'd say Canterbury would have to play Auckland off the park to beat them and take the title.

  7. Will probably depend on whether the All Blacks are back or not. I am tipping no because the All Blacks will be playing in the final the same week of the NPC final :)

  8. I'm not really bothered who wins as long as it is NOT canterbury. My team didn't even make the quarters and had a woeful season, so my interest in the competition has sunk.

It would be nice if a smaller union won the Air New Zealand Cup. Wouldn't mind seeing Hawke's Bay or Taranaki getting up for.

Auckland must be the favourites but Canterbury are a top class side. So will Auckland roll on and take the glory or can Canterbury learn from their thrashing in the shield game and take the title??
