Question:

Will car insurance always be expensive when I first purchase it?

I've never had car insurance and I'm about to purchase a car. I've been researching different companies and they are all pricey. Should I wait until I'm 25 to get my own insurance since it will be cheaper or is the price based off other factors? I'm currently 24 years old and never had insurance under my name.

  2. Pretty much.  You have no record of insurance under your own name.  Kind of like starting out on developing credit - you're not gonna get a great rate right out of the gate.

  3. I think you should see first what your countries policy about cars. And if you are looking for a low or cheaper company insurance, you may like to see this :

  4. At farmers-in texas- they have what is called innocent/no prior.  If you tell the agent you have not had a car they cannot charge you for not having ins.  Good luck with that!

  5. If you're asking if you should drive around for a few months in your vehicle without insurance until you turn 25...the answer is NO!!!  That will ruin you for a LONG time if something happens and you don't have any insurance coverage.

If you've never had insurance before, how do you know what's actually pricey??  Just shop around the larger companies and see who can give you the best rate. You don't want to go with a company noone's ever heard of....because there's a reason for that.  Go with one of the beter-known, reputable companies who can give you the best rate and coverage.

  6. there is no a easy solution for your question.however,it is not solvable though.here is the good resource i have been referring.http://car-insurance.online-tips.info/ca...

  7. if you are just purchasing a vehicle, your rates will not be that high. now if you had a vehicle and were driving without ins, alot of places will be unable to insure you..

but you are just purchasing, so have you looked into state farm? depending on what type of car has alot to do with your rate. driving history as well... if you have never had any tickets or accidents you would get a good driving discount, if you have no dependents, you would get a discount for that as well. it all depends where you go through, and the more that you insure the bigger discounts you will get ex. renters, life, home, another auto.. good luck in your search for insurance, if you have any questions i would be happy to help.
