Will chemically polluted danger zones exist from troop activity in Iraq?

I would imagine there are plenty already with oil being drilled, sabotage, the effects of the previous war, etc. Is Iraq a toxic nightmare?

hello. Iraq is a major mess, this war and the previous war where we (america) fired some toxic missiles at Iraqis. That was in the hussein days. I for one, would not wish to go 'there'.
