  1. Of course they'll mate--they're different breeds, not different species. They're all chickens when it comes down to it. I actually had some Polish/Brahma crosses a while back... fluffy heads and fluffy feet!


  2. Absolutely.  In fact, people sometimes intentionally cross breed to get chickens like "Showgirls" - a cross of a Silkie to a Naked Neck (or Turken).  http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGP/S...

  5. Yes they will!  I've got some interesting mixes.  For instance, a rhode island rooster mixed with a silkie!!!

    Any breeds can mate. Its like us humans. African Americans can have a baby with a Caucasian person. A labrador retreiver can mate with a poodle and have babies. And different breeds of ducks can as well.
