I'm just worried that this type of soap might be harmful, although I am pretty sure my clubs are ok.

  1. Why use something like Lysol?? Check the manufacturers recommendation on their website or call their 800 #.....some exotic metals and finishes are used...why risk wreaking them?

  2. The best thing for cleaning your clubs, both woods and irons, require  an old Turkish towel for wetting and scrubbing, a sharp wooden golf tee for extracting the gunk from the grooves in the irons, water to wash the faces of the clubs and a dry towel to  dry the faces and shafts of your clubs.. No lysol, Pinesol, soap, detergent are required. The old Turkish towel can also be used to clean the grips. Make sure that these are thoroughly dry when finished.

  3. lysol? what happened to them? i use dawn soapy water on mine and its fine. i think it would be okay.

  4. i would be careful. my "smart" mother once sprayed lysol on the door k***s to clean them and totally stained our doors

  5. ughhh if your that worried than i can't wait to see when u hit the ball hahah. they are made of metal for a reason...

  6. ummmmmm.......Like.....they are steel......or titanium..........and lysol.....Ok...now to my more informative side......If you are truely concerned....check the products Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).  It will list the hazards of using the chemical and any reactivity issues.  Most companies will have their MSDS's available on line now days
