Will clomid make your cycle late?

this is my third month on clomid 50mg. i am on cd 31 no sign of AF some mild cramping but no spotting. i took a hpt on cd29 it was neg, took one today neg:( i dont know what to think or how to feel. i made an appt for 8/29

you have to know exactly when you ovulated because you may be testing a bit to early.good luck

With or without clomiphene, if you are not pregnant, you would expect to get your next period about 14 days after ovulation. If you don't ovulate, then your period may come any time or not at all.

Do you know when you ovulated?  It may be a bit early still.

Many, many women experience late ovulation with clomid, which in turn would push menstruation back, as well.  Clomid also lengthens the luteal phase in some women.  

Remember that it sometimes takes a week or two after en expected period for some women to see a positive on a home pregnancy test, so don't give up hope yet!
