  1. If you buy small loaches.. Then yes, they will be fine together..

    How big is your tank?

  2. clown loaches will get far too big unless you have a tank the size of a large, tall, coffin and need to be kept in groups of their own species. Adult clown loaches  have been known to eat smaller tankmates, although it is unlikely as they're peaceful and usually only attack when stressed and cramped.

Neon Tetras are best suited with other small fish such as Dwarf Gourami, other types of tetras and Mollies.

  3. Yes they can live together, but check your tank size vs the size that clown loaches can grow to.

If your tank isn't 50+gal, dont get clown loaches, even then they may outgrow the tank.

If your tank is small look for some zebra or chain loaches, they stay smaller and would be fine in a 20gal tank.

  4. no, not neon tetras with clown loaches if you have a reasonable size tank so that the loaches grow they will most likely eat your neons :((

  5. They will but clown loaches, despite a slow growth rate, live over 20 years, to be in a group of their own kind and, most importantly, a minimum of a 6ft tank.

If you don't plan for a tank that big in future, consider a smaller species such as the dwarf chain loach which stays small, gets on fine with neons, is very active, needs to be in groups and a minimum of a 20 US gallon tank.

  6. yes they will be fine,

clown loaches may even shoal with such fish as

    tinfoil tetra

    pictus catfish

    bala shark

    yo yo loach

also, take into account that clown loaches may grow to 30cm and will require a very large tank

    hope this helps
