Will college tuition just keep going up indefinitely?

I graduated 4 years ago and wanted to go back to school to get my masters degree. I was shocked at how much college went up in just 4 years!

Will college just keep going up like this or will it begin to go down or at least stabablize since online schools are becoming more prevalent. Also it seams like if it goes much higher it really wouldn't make much sense to go to college because you will be paying back your loans for so long.

College tuition will NOT go down, most likely it will stabilize for now, Taking out loans is not the end of the world, it will help (or hurt) when you are building credit. Take a long look and think about what you want to do. Master Degrees may be allot of $$$, but you'll also get back allot of $$$ after that first year.

Supply and demand, more children want to go to college but not enough to fit them all.

This also leads to lower acceptance rates.

As soon as our education budget is smoothed out, it should be better.
