Those are the classes I've taken so far. I haven't really many after school activities besides marching band, bowling, and community service. But are my classes good?

  1. I took AP classes from sophomore year, and had almost 20 by the time I graduated. I had A's and B's. I was two grades ahead in math, was the captain of the cheerleading team, did musicals, orchestra and three school choirs, and my junior year, took the most AP classes in the entire school. I still got wait-listed for University of Wisconsin Madison.

Most schools (like UWM) look at unweighted GPAs. Many students who rarely took AP courses got into Madison while I, who busted my *** all through high school, didn't. Keep your grades high, thats the most impressive portion of your college resume. Also, make sure you are getting in the volunteer hours, that helps ALOT.

Good luck, and keep those grades steady!
