Will colleges look down on your for getting a 790 on the Bio Sat ii M?

The reason I ask is because many other people that I know seemed to have gotten an 800! I also took the AP bio test and didn't do too well on that... So i was hoping for a perfect score.

So will highly selective colleges such as Ivies scorn 790s? That test was very easy. I was unsure about 2 questions and didn't answer them though... And I took AP bio as a class too. An 800 should have been a given, right?

  1. Well, let me first tell you that I got a 800 on that test. Maybe I'm not one to talk, but a 790 is an extremelly respectable score. That score should just give them more reason to accept you. Very few people I know got an 800. Actually, I am the only one I actually know personally who earned a perfect score.

Just to put this into perspective- a 790 is usually the 97th percentile. This means that, out of 100 people, you were in the top 3 scores.

  2. 790 is a great score and no college would ever scorn that.. not even the ivy leagues.

  3. a 790 is an AMAZING score

thats a score that will help you get in to college!

  4. 790 is a wonderful score!  And no college would think it's not good enough just bc it's 10 pts less than the perfect score.
