Will completing a DCA learning course for a veterinary assistant be recognised by vets?

  1. should be recognised by govt .so yer it should a base to start from.

  3. I suspect it will be recognised as a preliminary qulaification. What is missing from it practical experience. You wouldn't be able to walk into a vetrinary assistant's job with just the DCA qualification. Hwever a larger practice might take you on as a trainee. Better to inquire among vets first before parting with your money for the course.
