It can be used, but be VERY CAREFUL of the Computer's Boxes that display the computer content...

LCD projectors are very susceptible to Burns or warping when a computer's program box is white and bright and the BACKGROUND is Darker....

Your Background should be preferably a light Gray for best protection of the LCD from edge-burns....

You'll protect your investment that way....

The above answer doesn't really make any sense. If your TV has a VGA input on it then it was designed to accept that connection and it obviously will not damage anything.

It depends on what kind of tv monitor you have, if its an old model tv then it might distort or even break the colour code for the tv but if its the newer widescreen flatpanel tv's then your tv should be ok
