  1. I don't know how bad they are bent, but you can try easing them back up and driving re-barb stakes down the side of your corn and tie them together not to tight, and hopefully they will produce. hope this helps!

  2. I grow corn, too.  Back in May a severe windstorm took down five three-foot plants.  They were all horizontal.

I was able to save three of the plants by uprighting them using rocks to press the roots back into the soil.  I also added more soil around the stems.  Corn roots are very shallow and are prone to blow-downs.

  3. Yeah, most should bounce back inside a week.  Corn is essentially a big grass, and unless the stalk is actually notched and bent, rather than the whole thing just blown over, it should right itself.  At least mostly.

  4. i had some corn and they got bend pretty bad and they came  back soo yeah they should come right back up in a week or so if there not to hurt

  5. We always seem to have a huge wind storm whenever the corn reaches about 5 feet tall in our garden....what we do is straighten them back up and then stake them using a bamboo rod. This hold the stalks upright until they have a chance to re-root themselves.
